This is a great place. It is much needed throughout the community. Im so glad they are able to see so many people in need. Staff are friendly ,BUT dont be late. They take appointments very seriously as the need is great and when someone doesn't show up that is a space that could have went to someone else. Only negative thing I have experienced there is a black man (same guy each time) there that asks for money. I usually check the area before going to my car. I didnt pay attention time before last and he got me with my window rolled down, talking about his sister was coming for him to take him for a job interview and while he waited for her he wanted to get something to eat at Hardee's on the corner. I gave him money to get him gone. When I left I went straight across the street to get gas and guess who had already crossed the street walking to go to the gas station!?! He seen me and immediately left. Started walking down the street, PASSED Hardee's, and up to Dollar General area. I definitely learned my lesson and wont be as nieve next time. He hasl asked me or came to my vehicle window a total of four different times.

Can’t say this place has been positive results for me. I don’t know what it is with nurse practitioner’s but np Riggs is was just unresponsive and passive. Told me I need to contact other doctors for some issues I was having. Arnt they suppose to refer you? Maybe it’s my insurance or the way I look or something. It seems like I was a joke. My health isn’t a joke to me. Couldn’t get some medicine filled for some reason. I was told I need to call the pharmacy; pharmacy told me refills have to go through the dr. The app they use for messaging usually takes atleast 4 to 5 days to get a response. Unfortunately if I had better insurance I would probably be treated better. I don’t feel they really care.

Christiansburg office only.. I had an appointment scheduled for 1130. On the way I got caught up in roadwork n called to let them know. A female (not naming her) answered n told me our policy is no more than 10mins late. I understood that and said alrighty i will make it there. Got into the office and was signing in at 1139. Then a male looks over asks my name and states im late n will have to reschedule. Excuse me I called and I wasn’t late I was signing in but when he spoke I stopped n slide to his side of the counter n saw it was 1140 then. The female spoke up and said yes she called n I did tell her 10 min grace period but she wasn’t riding the bus. Riding the bus?!? What?!? Which has nothing to do with the time or 10min grace period. So now you choose who you (receptionist) want to see if someone comes in after calling and making them aware. That is ridiculous. And now to know how rude, uncaring and unprofessional this cburg practice is I’m probably going to look for a new Dr. I love my doctor and we have a great relationship so how is it that only certain ppl can be rescheduled? Who makes the rules the receptionist.. I’m in utter disbelief at how this one center/location can

I am appalled by the care provided here. "Dr riggs" "dr rebecca king" are horrible people. You cant get your medication they rip money from you through insurance. They make you go multiple times during the course of treatment. Which I get they're thorough. But when you've been on a medication for years that's helped and they dont give it, that's where I have problems. I hate these people and place. I got kicked out for standing up for myself. I have no clue how to report these people but I'll find a way. They cant do their job right and they dont follow up on anything they say they will. They never follow up, you never get a call back either! If you leave a message for their nurses, good luck! You won't get called back and supposedly they're always so busy and when you say I really need to speak with them they go " oh well they're sitting at their desk now! Let me transfer you" its odd how they suddenly wasn't busy anymore. This place is a joke. They take your money either insurance or out of pocket and make you suffer. I go to the Family Academics now in blacksburg and its awesome! Love the guys and gals over there! PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

Absolutely 100 and 10 % recommend this clinic!!! I have been a patient since 2014 and have had no issues at all. The rotation of doctors took some time getting use to as I would build a doctor/patient relationship and have to start all over. But I got over that quickly because each care provider has went beyond their duties to make sure I stay in good health. Let's not forget to mention the nurses, the front desk staff, and my vampire buddy Austin who works in the lab!!! On my life I will never see another PCP other than the ones at this clinic!!!!
